We have had the most amazing couple of weeks at nursery looking at all things Spring and Celebrating Easter.
The children have –
~Explored colour mixing to create pastel colours
~Explored Daffodils, how they smell and what’s inside them
~We’ve visited the library to look at Easter books
~Created some masterpieces using string and paint
~Created some wonderful transient art – it was great to see how each child used the resources in a different way
~We’ve observed the magical life cycle of a butterfly
~We’ve had lots of fun in Hollys exercise class
~We’ve visited our new friends at the memory café
~Looked at nature in the garden – we’ve observed a new fascination with ladybirds
~Decorated eggs
~Explored paint in a different way using funnels
This morning we went on a number hunt in the local area and visited Co-Op to buy ingredients to make some yummy Easter nests
