As always we have had a wonderful week at Kirkgate Childcare!!
Our week started with a visit to Sherburn Library to enjoy story time, included lots of time outside come rain or shine- potion making, re-enacting racing, practicing our throwing and catching, playing in the swing and exploring the dinosaur swamp.We have enjoyed lots of number activities using the bean bags/dominoes, visited our friends at Hilltop Manor for our weekly voices together session – Thursdays are the highlight of the week with our children and it ended with exploring marks using different media and our weekly little voices session.
Some of our older children have enjoyed visiting their BIG schools and teachers have visited them here in setting (i dont know about you, but we are feeling very emotional at the thought of them leaving us to start new adventures)
